Hohenems ist von Grund aus ne Geheimnisvolle Stadt und seit jeher mit geheimnisvollen Menschen gesegnet. Seit der Gründung von Ems, ist dieser Ort voller Geheimnisse, eins der noch ungelösten Geheimnisse ist der Aufenthaltsort des Goldenen Kegelspiels. Bei Renovierungsarbeiten auf der Ruine Alt Ems wird ja immer wieder goldener Schmuck gefunden (zuletzt 2016), wer weiß wann es endlich soweit ist und auch das Sagen umwobene goldene Kegelspiel gefunden wird? Passend dazu gibt es in Hohenems noch zahlreiche Geheimwege in die Berge.
Ein paar davon, bin ich hier mit wundervollen netten und sehr sympatischen Menschen abgelaufen. Carola, Otto, Lukas, Gisela und Marc.
Gestartet sind wir von der Parzelle Ledi, beim Schießstand gibt es ein Parkplatz für Wanderer. Man läuft Richtung Alpe Gsohl und, wenn man weiss wo, findet man den Einstieg in den Äuelegratweg. Da geht es dann gleich sehr zünftig hoch.
Es geht erst mal ein bisschen durch den wald, bis man dann auf dem Grat steht. Schwindelfreiheit sollte hier Voraussetzung sein. :-)
Man macht hier gehörig Höhenmeter, es geht fast nur steil Bergauf.

Oberhalb des Beppo Steiges geht es dann auf Normalweg weiter Richtung Luchsfalle, hier begutachteten wir noch ne kleine Höhle.
Am Ende Der Luchsfalle gehen wir dann Richtung Hohenemser Hütte weiter.

Freies Klettern Stufe 2 sollte kein Problem sein!!
Am Ende des Wandfluhgrates wartet eine verdiente Erfrischung in der Naturfreunde Hütte, der Emser Hütte.
Runter folgen wir dem Stuharotelweg der zurück bis zur Hohenemser Reute führen würde, wir nehmen aber den sogenannten Eseltreppenweg der uns zum Schießstand von Hohenems zurück führt.
wir brauchten für die ca 10km, gemütliche 6 stunden.
